1. Your account
You must provide accurate information when you create an account and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity on your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect any unauthorised access.
2. How the service works
You provide transcripts or notes from a meeting. Aleph Minutes uses automated AI processing to generate a summary, decisions, action items and an attendee list. AI-generated outputs are produced algorithmically and may contain errors, omissions or misinterpretations.
3. Your responsibility to review minutes
Generated minutes are a draft assistant, not an official record. You are responsible for reviewing every set of minutes for accuracy, completeness and appropriateness before sharing them, adopting them at a meeting, or relying on them for any decision. Aleph Minutes is not a substitute for human judgement or professional advice.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Aleph Minutes to:
- upload content you do not have the right to share;
- process recordings or transcripts of people who have not been told their meeting is being recorded or transcribed, where notice or consent is required by law;
- process content that is unlawful, harassing, defamatory, hateful or that infringes the rights of others;
- attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, overload or circumvent the security of the service;
- resell or sublicense the service without our written agreement.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules.
5. Subscriptions and billing
Aleph Minutes offers a free tier with limited monthly usage and paid subscription plans. Prices are shown in Australian dollars on the Pricing page and may include or exclude GST as indicated at checkout.
- Recurring billing. Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) using the payment method on file, until cancelled.
- Plan changes. If you upgrade mid-cycle, the change takes effect immediately and your next invoice is adjusted. If you downgrade, the change takes effect at the start of your next billing period.
- Failed payments. If a payment fails we may retry the charge and, after a reasonable period, downgrade your account to the free tier.
6. Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel a paid plan at any time from your billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you will retain access to paid features until then. Except where required by Australian Consumer Law, fees already paid are non-refundable. We do not provide pro-rata refunds for partial periods.
7. Your content
You retain ownership of the transcripts, notes and other materials you upload (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited licence to host, process and display Your Content solely to provide the service to you and your organisation.
8. Intellectual property
Aleph Minutes, including its software, design and branding, is owned by us or our licensors. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.
9. Service availability
We aim to keep Aleph Minutes available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, update features or change AI providers at any time. We will give reasonable notice of material changes that affect paying customers.
10. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aleph Minutes is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant that AI-generated outputs are accurate, complete or fit for any particular purpose. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you in connection with the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from your reliance on AI-generated minutes.
12. Termination
You may stop using Aleph Minutes at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, fail to pay, or use the service in a way that creates risk for us or other users.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New South Wales, Australia. You and Aleph Minutes submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that State.
14. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes we will notify account holders. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
15. Contact
